Astier de Villatte's Incense Aoyama provides scents of damp wood, incense, and freshly laundered linen, evoking the typical smell of an old, wooden Japanese house from the neighborhood of Aoyama. Exquisite traces of highly-chic Patchouli (damp wood) of smoked wood (Gaiac and Vetiver) and of cloves. A harmonious chord of moss accentuates the feeling of freshness. Contains essences of Clove, Lignum Vitae, Vetiver, Patchouli, Hinokiwood Accord and Moss Acccord. Perfume designed with Françoise Caron.

- Light the end of the stick with a match, blow out the flame, and leave to smoke. Plant the stick in an incense burner or a bowl of sand. Do not use in a flammable environment. Do not leave burning without supervision. Keep out of reach of children and animals.

Founders Benoît Astier de Villatte and Ivan Pericoli have been making unique lifestyle pieces in Paris for fifteen years. Their signature ceramics, candles, and glassware are all handmade in an antique Bastille workshop that originally housed Napolean's silversmith. Best known for their 18th- and 19th-century inspired black terra-cotta pottery, Astier de Villatte's team hand makes each piece in a traditional style that has been passed down through generations.
